UNICAR / Electrophysiology

 

A total of eight ablations were attempted, with six successful procedures.

 

The remaining two were unsuccessful due to:

1. Inability to induce tachycardia,

2. The proximity of the AV node and risk of heart block.

 

Dr. David Chan and Tami Ackley worked with the local team headed up by Dr. Gonzalo Calvimontes and his able staff. As always, they were impressed by the local team's dedication.
